Ever since Jade was born she's has had the need to explore. When she was old enough she left her old village behind and when out to find a new life for herself only taking with her, her glass tipped spear. After year of exploring she come across a town inside a bamboo forest that was called the Windrider clan where she now lives and works as the guard for the Windsinger temple, where the Windrider clan leader Limelight lives. During the day Jade stands on duty at the front of the temple at night Jade enjoys taking flights out above the bamboo forest to relax before turning in.

One night when flying over the bamboo forest Jade come across Mantled Foo, each night Jade returned to that spot with some food and so did the Mantled Foo. Soon Jade and the Mantled Foo join together and now work together to guard the temple.
