Biography

Taboo. Monstrous. Heinous.

That's how many would describe necromancers, and Muerte is one who revels in it. Born amidst the Scarred Wasteland of the Plague Flight, Muerte grew up accustomed to death during her hatchling days. From her very birth, she had been blessed with a unique gift: the ability to commune with the dead, an early warning of her future. Within her, a craving for power and a hunger for control grew.

As a hatchling, she would commune with spirits and it wasn't odd to find her talking to a skeleton of a long dead dragon, perfectly being able to recite their name and history. Many saw her as a type of prophet, a hatchling born with the gift of the Plaguebringer herself but didn't bear the mark of Primal... that was until she started bringing home the reanimated remains of long dead critters and creatures. Other dragons became appalled at this, scolding her for doing such a thing, much to her frustration and confusion. She had always found this confusing as to her young mind it was only a fun game, and that confusion would follow her to new discoveries. In her adolescence she would be led to the lost and taboo arts of the Flights, delving into the ancient art of Necromancy and Blood magics to answer her long questions of her powers. While others would warn her to stray away from the path, but she would earnestly reply that she knew where her path was going and she enjoyed where it would end.

It wasn't just her unique magics that chilled dragons and set her apart from others, it was also her chilling lack of morality and ethics. Muerte is morbid and terrifying in her best of moods. To her, other lives are seen as little more than her future playthings when they eventually fall to the unavoidable ticking clock that is death. She will shed blood for fun and dare others to challenge her as she knows such frivolous attempts of ending her life will only empower her in the end. Of course, despite this Muerte understands the value of alliances and will remain friendly and courteous to those who aid her or her endeavors. With her articulate way of speaking, it's often hard to remember she lacks ethics of even the lowest caliber.

In current year, Muerte is on a never-ending quest to create an Emperor. Hearing of their power, she is very much convinced that she can rival their power and bend one to her necromantic will. She seeks to prove that no Necromancer can match her power due to having an Emperor at her every beckoning call, and perhaps she can surpass a threshold of powers that would enable her to rival even the Eleven Deities themselves.
