Avery
He/Him
Sailor
Avery was born in a bustling port town to humble merchants. He never considered a life on the sea for himself but, he saw many a sailor on the docks and he would often listen to their (clearly exagerated) tales of adventure. While he still worked at his parents stall, he met an young sailor around his age. Oberon was his name and Avery was absolutley charmed by him. Whenever Oberon was in town, the two of them spent all of their time together and Oberon encouraged Avery's dream of being a florist. Against the advice of most everyone around him, Avery pursued a relationship him and after a few years, they were wed during one of Oberon's stays at port. Their relationship flourished for years despite the time at sea and they wrote to each other every day. But one day, Oberon's letter's stopped coming. Avery tried not to worry but days passed and then weeks, and then a month and Avery feared for the worst. So he sold everything he had, bought a ship and a small loyal crew and set off to find his beloved.
