Not much remains of Alec beneath the shade's corruption. Once a gentle, soft-spoken soul, he sought to help what he thought was a lost stranger, only to wind up at the merciless claws of a shade-touched dragon. Things had gone downhill from there - first the anxiety had set in, then the ever-present paranoia, leading him to snap at the slightest of shadows. Distrustful and wary of even his clanmates, it's only a matter of time before the shade erodes his mind and soul completely. Even if he were to be freed of the shade's tainted touch, there's likely no saving what he used to be like, a fact that haunts him even now. - written by rei711
