 Father"Anything left unguarded is usually just bait." BIO Arlecchino is a reserved Fathom. Those who encounter her find Arlecchino almost off-putting. She observes others with a cold gaze, searching for weaknesses, filling them away for future use. She lives in the town of Basalt in a large and well-kept house, looking after orphaned and abandoned hatchlings. As the head of the house, she has inherited the title of "Father" and it is best not to question this. Dragons who grow up at her hearth often return to help raise the others, and never have a bad word to say about their time under her care. Despite her position, Arlecchino is not warm in any maternal or paternal sense. She raises her hatchlings with every need cared for, but unlike any traditional nestkeeper, she does not dote on nor gush over the hatchlings in her care. It is clear she cares for them, but perhaps it is in the way a dragon cares for their familiar, or an inventor cares for their creation. Not the way a parent cares for their hatchling. Under her well-constructed exterior of a collected dragon, something dark lurks beneath. Arlecchino often will vanish for days or weeks at a time, or sometimes even just for a night. The hatchlings who graduate from her care visit her frequently, but tend to become warriors and mercinaries. Those who don't still have the scarred hides and tattered wings of a dragon who lives a life of violence and close calls. Something isn't quite right about her orphanage, something isn't quite right about her.
