Perched on a rugged outcrop, rising up out of the foaming waves like a hand reaching for the sun, the lonely lighthouse guides all new arrivals through the treacherous shallows that surround this strange land. Its pale lamp is the first thing a traveller will see upon arrival - a ghostly beam of light slicing apart the ever-present shroud of mist, leading boats to the safety of the Far Shores.

No one on the islands claims to know Garou well. Of all its residents, he is possibly the most distant, the most difficult to grasp. An enigmatic figure usually seen from afar, he spends most of his time attending to his duties within the lighthouse, and it is rare for him to visit the village. Even then, Garou isn't one for casual conversation. He chooses not to speak unless it is absolutely necessary, which is almost never.
