Kori
the frozen wanderer
Born in the dead of winter, with no memory of home, Kori was not always as cold to the touch as she seems. She had a mate, once - the coatl Elendal - a proud Ice dragon the color of deep water beneath the surface of the frozen sea. They bore but one nest together, and of their three hatchlings elected to send one male to their father's former clan.

Their joy was short-lived, however, as Elendal's entire once-clan was lost - and their little one gone with them before they were even granted a name. Devastated, Kori now keeps to herself. Elendal was gentle and kind in her grief, but eventually Kori encouraged him to take a new mate and be happy, rather than join her in her pain.

While Kori could never regret her children, she is still a profoundly sad creature - and as much as she loves the clan that took her in, the lair is filled with painful memories. Lately, she feels as though her cracked icy heart is perhaps almost healed enough to start her life anew. The Lightning clan that has been her home since childhood have all wished this quiet nocturne their best on her quest for a new home - they will be sad to see her go, but like to think she'll find somewhere, finally, she can be truly happy.
