born within frozen fields, zhurong was unlike her frigid companions. the sizzle of her steps left dragons around her in constant states of alarm and unease; the warmth emanating against the ice like the hiss of some hideous snake.

from youth, she held constant visions of one: leathered wings, endless skin of colour, a sunset incarnate. whilst not knowing who, if even existing, this figure was, the one as warm as the sky would force mikuska into exploration as she reached maturity; keen to escape the cold lands of her birth that never offered her homeliness for something a little more...

comforting.

a mountainside, blooming wildflowers, front row seating to the performance of the sun. the oracle discovered her penchance for prediction and clemency; visualising the steep hillside overlooking the thicket that would one day come to harbour the lost campsite. through a thick, easterly forest she emerged; overlooking a sea of moving green, awash with hues of the sunset at the close of every afternoon.
