• he is an anxious mess. gets jumspcared or startled easily. likely to run the flying fRICK away occasionally.
• tfw when your shīdì (师弟) is in the frickin window and you don't expect him to be there. like what are you doing. get down from there so i can close the window there's a draft!!!!!!!!
• despite being kind of tsundere, he really does care very deeply about his shidi QYZ. he's just sometimes very bad at showing it.
• wears a mask, has a few: crying mask, demon mask, etc. in different variations; often he pulls it to rest at the side of his head instead of fully covering his face, but if he's anxious or nervous he may hide behind it tbh. especially in large crowds, or while he's on official / work related endeavors.
• likes peace and quiet, relaxing/soothing places. is very introverted and has low energy at all times, so he can get overwhelmed and exasperated very quickly. perpetually tired. this man needs a 200 year nap.
• likes to read books, friends with Líng Wén (灵文) the librarian / secretary only competent civil goddess. occasionally helps her out with her backlog of responsibilities so she can get some time to herself too (probably to write some poems let's be real). (Hè Xuán (贺玄) sometimes pops over too for the same reason, so they're all friends.)

  • anyways we're in the timeline of post-story drama and healing/recovery from it instead with this fandragon fyi.
  • (as a trauma-survivor myself, i'm huge big soft for healing/recovery after bad things and i think they both deserve to be happy, ok?)
• wields a yǎnyuèdāo (偃月刀) (aka a "reclining moon blade") and a shovel. you've been warned. he might bonk a fool with either of these things.
• he's actually a ghost who was killed and brought back to life by QYZ, who nurtured him until he regained his powers. he's admittedly not a very powerful ghost, despite having a MOON THEMED SHOVEL. it's okay though. his extremely over-protective husbando will destroy anyone who tries to hurt or insult him tbh.
• Huā Chéng (花城)'s subordinate, and trusted right-hand man. they're good friends. HC actually saved him from someone who tried to kill him at one point, so now he works for the ghost-demon king.
• tries very hard to be a good person even when people are getting on his nerves. attempts to be polite even if he's utterly exasperated. unfortunately is really bad about not communicating his feelings/needs/boundaries or being open/honest, and often bottles things up until he explodes, but he's trying to work on that after some positive encouragement about the subject from Xiè Lián (谢怜). (and it helps that his SUPER TOXIC EX FRIEND IS GONE thank you Huā Chéngzhǔ (花城主) for destroying that fricker)

tl;dr he should be fodder and doesn't stand out at all and that's the point, in a lair full of dragons where i basically collect "special" dragons this makes him actually stand out. that's what special about him is that he isn't. :')

(canonically he is supposed to be very plain/boring/doesn't stand out in the crowd. except I think he would totally stand out ngl but maybe that's just me and being biased because i LOVE him a lot as a character oh my gosh...)

i love him. i am so happy with this LOL
