27/09/2023: I have given up on coatl breed entirely, only breeding for colours. My first pair are somewhat okay? I've breed changed them to gaolers, because I had those clan bound scrolls lying around. Yami & Yoko are sort of similar with primary and secondary, but their tert range is kind of large. May bite me in the butt but their primary and secondary are close so that's all I can ask for tbh... My current goal is to breed two unrelated pairs with only the tert range being over cyan, and then to breed their children to get cyan, or if that fails, narrow it down generation by generation, and bring in additional unrelated pairs so the children of first gen pairs can always breed together.
I might need a spreadsheet for this one, to keep track of gen's.

28/09/2023: Accidentally bought 3 dragons! Well, bought Vatta, Yatta and Vinnie. I was only supposed to get Yatta and Vatta but here we are. Yatta and Vatta have a wide tert range as well (it looks like I will just have to cry and hope my two pairs can pump out terts that are close enough I won't have to scream!) Need to breed change either Vatta or Yatta.
Breed changed Vatta to a nocturne since that's the non-ancient breed that's cheapest atm. Idm the waiting times tbh!
Got Vinnie a partner (Madena).

4/10/2023: Bought another pair, the most promising so far! Yay! Ironcrypt & Steeljaws. I have to wait a month tho before I can breed them as Steeljaws was just born today -_- 2nd Nov! is when I can breed them yay.

6/10/2023: Bought two new dragons for a pair Hiora & Ivore (I think I'll stop at 6 pairs and just go from there tbh, but still keep looking occasionally for new blood to introduce if I really need to). They're kind of close, and I'm hoping for a dragon that has the target pri/sec cause the tert range is pretty close I don't care as much. Just please give me pri/sec!! Hiora is so CLOSE, if only she had been Indigo pri!! So gosh darn close I cri. Sapphire Stiched is too purple for my tastes, but so CLOSE!!
(Later that day when rollover catches up to my daytimes): Was bound to happen sometime i guess -_- Bred Yatta & Vatta, got wegged...

8/10/2023: Vinnie and Madena have two eggs!

12/10/2023: Yatta & Vatta bab has a sapphire tert! Of all the colours! Straight to the arcanist with you!

13/10/2023: One of Vinnie & Madena's babs is: Sapph/Navy/Seafoam... He's 7 off cyan so that's not bad tbh. He's a sapphire though so a bit gutted. I'll keep him. My start to Gen 2. Named him Jack, his partner shall be Jill, whenever I aquire her.

18/10/2023: Yami and Yoko wegged me! -_- bro!! Hopefully it works out to be a good bab..

23/10/2023: yami & yokos kid is twilight/navy/abyss, which is not the worst? but not the greatest either. Ill keep em for now, I've named him Jason.

29/10/2023: Bred Hiora & Ivore, they have 5 eggs! yay! Hopefully something comes of it :D

4/11/2023: Hiora & Ivore, oh my god they produced a coatl girl? Indigo/Navy/Cerulean, ONE OFF, just like her mother!! (but her mother has sapphire pri) I've named her Sakura. The current 2nd gen dudes are pretty far off too, so I shall see who her prospects are once her breeding cd is finished.
(after rollover): bred the long awaited pair: steeljaws & ironcrypt! they have 3 eggs

5/11/2023: had another look at the nocts (Sakura's siblings). There's one twilight/navy/cyan boi and one indigo/navy/cerulean gal, both are keepers too. Made a new pair with Jack & the girl (Lily). I named her before deciding I was going to pair her, so yeet. Odds are 1 in 16. A final pair tbh! Technically Steeljaws and Ironcrypt are also a final pair and will be sent when I get to that part. BIG NOTE: Sakura and Bow are siblings!

10/11/2023: Ironcrypt and Steeljaws hatched an Indigo/cobalt/cerulean gal, def keeping her (named her Indie)! Put Yoko & Yami (2eggs) and Yatta & Vatta (3 eggs) on nests.
(Later): Made Bow & Indie a final pair!

15/11/2023: Yami & Yoko gave a bab with mint tert, dunno if theyre useful yet! Yatta & Vatta gave babs with blue/purple range terts so no dice there as well. The mint bab is otherwise great, is 8 from the target colour. Sirprisingly a fodder dragon hatched as a Indigo/Sky/Robin, which sky is like 8/9 away from navy so its still a suitable candidate. Ill keep both the mint tert and sky bab, the sky bab is very much unrelated to the rest!

17/11/2023: Even though Sakura is a coatl, I'm changing her to an Aberration because I have the scrolls for it, and her mate is going to be a good colour match. Very much punched in the feels for colour over breed (Coatl's are ouchie prices). Named her mate Hanami, the odds for them are 1 in 6!!!! That's too good to pass up so breed change to Abberation.

23/11/2023: breeding cd finishes dec 8

13/12/2023: Started looking for water nests, visited the Triskele Nests forum and left an inquiry. Checked all the final pairs are unrelated.
Later: Sent 7 & 8 to Derogatory

14/12/2023: Lily & Jack got sent to Meymo.
Later: steeljaws & ironcrypt got sent to ArmorWondrous

18/12/2023: WE HAVE A WINNER IN TERMS OF COLIURS/EYES! Still have to recieve the other pairs to see if there are any differing eye colours but yes! Colours aquired.

20/12/2023: Got all the pairs back and... only the one winner! Time to yeet everyone else to the arcanist.
