Was singled out by Vitriol for apprenticeship for their similar appearances.
Hammer was a sharp, serious, eager to please youth looking to strike out from her home clan, so of course she accepted. And Vitriol was clearly powerful, at least. There was some hero worship there
Spending time with Vitriol- and by extension, elimination team 1- has bled that seriousness RIGHT out of her. Vitriol, Tempurra, and Anath’s combined negative brain cells are infectious
Still retains a sense to impress her mentor but that hero worship has dulled into comradeship and the desire to just have a good time really
Got infected with the silly-goofies is what I’m saying
