Meldamiriel, the eldest of her two-egg clutch, was always a conundrum for her parents. She was straightforward and sometimes rude, but she was also one of the most kind Hatchlings that they had ever had. Her parents were very polite and diplomatic, and it seemed that Meldamiriel would have none of that. She told people what she thought, with very little filter, and then told them what she would do to help. This brash kindness constantly throws other Dragons off balance. One thing she did inherit from her family were her high ideals. She will never back down from them, and praises anyone who lives up to them. She decided that she wanted to make a place where everyone would feel welcomed and her ideals would be carried out. This little corner of the world is where she calls home, and it makes her happy just to be there.

But what would happen if her ideals were shattered?

Meldamiriel means “Dear Jewel”, and she fulfills that name well. She is dear to her parents, but also those that she serves. Wherever she goes she seems to find a spot right in the heart of a community. And perhaps it is because she herself is such a jewel. Meldamiriel is always ready to help someone else, and in her own straightforward way she is kind and loving. Her Ideals have always been strong, and this made her decide that she wanted to create a little corner of the world where they would be reflected to everyone who walked through the door.

Every cup has a story within.
