Hundreds of years ago... Life and Death were one. There was peace. The Spirits of Life and Death were together. Sadly, the Spirit of Death lost control of his power, forcing the Spirit of Life to seal him away, bound by magical chains, sleeping, waiting to be awoken again...

Nightmare is the other most powerful spirit. He is the husband of Light, and will do anything to protect him. He is almost always by Light's side, especially when Light is clinging onto it. He can kill anyone instantly with his magic, but doesn't use it often.
His skin is a combination of deep blue/black colors and has purple eyes. His outfit, like Light's, is also part of his body. It consists of dark blue rags with some black scattered throughout. He can make it disappear or change it up whenever he wants.
Being the Spirit of Death, Nightmare can be considered harsh and even cruel at times. He is completely different around Light. He becomes very cuddly and sweet. Nightmare is always very gentle with Light. When around the other spirits, Nightmare jokes and messes around.
