As she glided over a patch of grasslands that seemed to be abandoned, she stopped. Life seemed normal for a traveling dragon just to be passing over. But she hated the thought of flying yet another day around the globe, traveling and seeing new faces she could never keep as her own. She hated traveling again and again and again. More places to see, more dragons, more familiars. She sighed. "No place was better than home, eh? Well then why don't I have one yet?" She settled down on a rock jutting out from the ground, she exhaled and blew her orange fire, scorching an area of green grass. "Why can't I find a place to rest to call my own? Everywhere else was weak, pointless. I have to build my army..." Waking up with the moon was very unusual for Coal Bringer. She couldn't fathom that her heavy eyelids would open to see a blue moon, but tonight was just one of those nights. Her head raised to stare into the moon. "Now what!?" Angry from being awoken, she gets up. But taking her gaze down from the moon, she began to notice that not a single dragon seemed to be flying around. Not a single soul seemed to be alive in this valley. Maybe she has found her home! Maybe she has just found her place of living. No one to cheat and speak out against her brash ways. From her resting place at this rock, she could see everything. Every firefly that buzzed in the night, every wave that crashed up against the shore furthest from her view. She smiled to herself and stared back up at the moon. "Now, I'm not one to thank anyone, Mr Moon Man or whatever. But I guess I can thank you for waking me up to see this crap. T-tt-thank you." She sits back down, but something seemed off about the darned light of the moon. She murmured under her breath, "Usually, I don't see the moon glow this bright.... and blue." Going face to face with another Guardian who was slightly smaller than herself wasn't exactly a superb way to end a good night, but in Coal Bringer's eyes this was the pinnacle of her day. Rustling left and right with a male glowing guardian seemed like the best! He swung his claws her direction, she dodged and bit into his neck, spilling oddly colored blue blood. "Why have you come! Fates told me you would change this land! LEAVE!" He snarled as blood oozed from his mouth. "I have come to LIVE!" She screamed back, spreading out her gigantic wings. "I HAVE COME TO BECOME MY OWN QUEEN!" She lunged in, striking his wings with a powerful blow. He took this opportunity to lunge at her shoulder and tear a nice hole out of it. "YEOUCH!" But what took the other guardian by surprise was that her skin broke open to reveal liquid hot manga pouring onto the surrounding areas. She smirked, her biggest strength. She is liquid manga with skin. They both lay as the morning dawns, painting and out of breath. Her wounds scorched her area as she exhaled and bled red flaming manga onto her surroundings. "If *huff* you wanted me *huff* gone, I can leave. You can win this round *huff*" Coal Bringer sighs and looked down. The other guardian scuffed it's head along the ground heavily and stared right at her. She raised her wings, still trying to be larger than the other, but as she did the morning sun got caught in their glow. Through her red wings shone a beautiful sun, and the other guardian closed his eyes. "I see now" he coughed, getting up limpidly. "I know what they meant by changed land. You are strong guardian. *huff* And you wish for a home I see. Our land has been un-touched by clans for generations. I am all that *huff* remains. I am ready to become a great and powerful empire again." He shakily also stretched his wings in an attempt to reach her wingspan. They stand now, wing to wing, helping dragons who have been expelled from their homes and who have been abandoned by those that do not wish for them. She helps bring up her own army, awaiting the day when she can return to her old homeland and reap revenge on someone whom held her anger for generations. Her holes have been covered in metal and stone, continuously burning with her fire inside, and scars red and orange. She wears her newly-found armor with pride, harnessing it to her ability whenever possible. |
