Quiet, cozy, and far more invested in reading than actually doing the archival work she's supposed to be doing. A librarian at the Lorekeeper Library, Locust enjoys a soft life of big windows, lots of sunbeams, piles of books, and limited supervision. This makes her the bane of her fellow librarian, Eridani, who takes her job deathly serious and would sooner die than let a book be put out of place. Despite her seemingly lax nature, Locust is incredibly enthusiastic about reading, the lore of Irthskaar, and helping other dragons find the tomes they need to succeed. She has a near photographic memory of the last place she's seen pretty much any book in the library, even if it's in an unorganized stack or was accidentally shelved incorrectly. Eridani, of course, hates this. Fracture and Mojave are often exasperated with Locust but aren't keen on changing her duties within the clan due to this uncanny talent of hers and, as time has gone on, Locust has learned that she's basically never in danger of losing her job. So, it's piles of pillows and snacks in a corner yet again, with a big stack of books for her to peruse.
