A semi mechanical dragon, Nintendo works as a mechanic in the Aergate City of Windswept Plains where she lives alongside her husband Appa. Occasionally she will travel to the neighbouring farmlands of Millmeadows to work on maintaining the windmills that dot the landscape where she will take the time to enjoy the open countryside.

While she was born in the Tangled Wood, Nintendo spent most of her hatchlinghood growing up in the natural homeland of her kind, the Shifting Expanse. Having once despised her natural inborn elemant, she had intended to gain her kinds natural electrical element through mechanical augments implanted across her body. This proved to be successful and for a long time Nintendo would supress her shadow element and use only her artificial electric one.

However she would one day find peace with her born element upon meeting Appa, a fellow Sandsurge (and eventual partner) who like her was attuned to a second element alongside his inborn one. But neither would be electric, instead having wind as his inborn element and water as his secondary.

Appa's free spirited nature and love for his elements despite not being native to his species, would have Nintendo questioning her views on her own. But over time with Appa as her inspiration, she would come to accept her shadow element, and now makes good use of it and her electrical abilities for both work and self defence.
