Hunted down by his stepfather, Venom, in a neighboring clan, it only felt natural to hunt down his own prey as an occupation. He still gets a thrill from it, teasing his prey before catching it~ Now that he leads his own clan, it’s not just a glorified hobby for him, his large clan needs to hunt. Though, nobody said that didn’t mean fun was off the list as they ravage the land they run through.

Position:
Though Rouge is now the alpha male of his own clan, he still loves the thrill of a chase as he did in his first month of life. It usually calms the itch to move and be active. A yearning that often has Rouge dragging his claws down his face in utter boredom when there’s nothing to do. He'll hunt anything and everything just to say he caught it with quick motions of his body and his own sharpened claws! Though he keeps a hoard of trophies that he shows off, his real prize is eating through the meat and fish he hunts with his family.

Personality:
Not much of a people person himself, Rouge prefers the solidarity of being alone. He likes the stability in close friends and family that he knows will be around a while rather than people who come and go. Normally a very cocky boy, most wouldn't expect that Rouge adores playing around with hatchlings to ruffle them up and teach them all he knows... but he's a romantic at heart with too much love to keep to just one mate and too much pride not to have branched out to lead a clan of his own!

History:
Seen as a baby floating along the cold rafts of the Frigid Floes, Venom, a Sky Dancer, lost the baby. Though it wasn't his child, it pained him to see another so... so desperate for help. His own children were exalted to Plaguebringer. Though it be a fate any dragon could crave, the lack of a child of his own tore his heart up. It took much time to search for the burgundy colored baby... but Venom was relentless as he was searched the field. It felt... foreign to be there again. His former lover lived in the area with her sweet Sunrise, a Spiral friend of hers. Maybe he lost her there... but when he found Rouge as a young adult, he dragged Rouge out by the scruff back home. He... he needed his son home. It just felt right...

Relations:
His former clan was like many clans: a revolving door of females and males entering the clan without even one that Rouge seemed to take. When he finally met Zoot though, he brought her home to be with him immediately! If only that could keep his wandering heart from craving a pretty boy in his life as well. As a bisexual, he feels the need for a pretty boy as well. After several trials, he happened to capture a plump crimson coatl after chasing him though the high cliffs of the Reedcleft Ascent. Dimitri was younger and masculine though... something was off about Dimitri when he got into dangerous situations.

Most of Rouge’s children have gone to serve the Plaguebringer, though his first biological son, Micah, and his own partner, Sophie, had chosen to stay behind with Venom while Rouge moved along with Zoot, Ranfang and a few of the other members to branch out on their own. Ranfang and Micah had a very special bond, and tend to ‘trade children’ so to speak to have more of each other as well as Rouge’s other son Azariah going back to his brother Micah. They recently welcomed Rouge's newest son, Adonijah, to stay with Rouge's own clan for once. Something he's very proud of~

Most recently, to Rouge's shock, word came from Venom's clan: they'd found a young uncle of Rouge's, much younger than Rouge himself. Also... they'd found Rouge's biological father, BloodLeopard, in an abandoned lair and rather starved. There was little to no word on his current condition though. It's a realization that breaks Rouge's heart...

Breeding:
All of Rouge’s offspring are by Zoot herself as his alpha female and lifemate, and though most of the children either serve the Plaguebringer or are from the original clan, Rouge is more than excited to have more. Despite the offspring count being in pairs, Zoot hopes one day to have quadruplets though she’s a patient mother. Recently though, Rouge proudly bred 3 eggs and each son refused the honor of serving the Plaguebringer in place of staying with Micah and a friendly neighboring clan of the Plague~
