Biography

As a hatchling, Amanita was looked after by the nature-loving Tundra, Keeper. Having just lost his mate, Keeper had been uncharacteristically lonely and quickly came to adore the young Nocturne, taking her with him on all of his expenditures and teaching her how to care for plants. Amanita adored her adoptive father in turn and soon aspired to take up his green thumb; unfortunately though, as a Plague dragon, every plant she tried to tend to wilted and died. Both she and Keeper were horrified by this turn of events, but the Tundra refused to give up on her, despite the damage to his precious forests. Eventually, they came to the solution of Amanita working on fungus gardens instead. Any felled tree in the clan's range soon becomes a vibrant habitat to all manner of fungi under the care of Amanita.
The Nocturne does more than just tending to her fungus gardens in order to help the forests. Any malicious intruders will swiftly find themselves under the effect of a potent variety of harmful spores. More than one unfortunate intruder has met the fate of becoming one of Amanita's gardens, either as a host to parasitic fungi or having their corpse serve as subsistence.
