Randot

Randot is definitely a dragon "Born of an old egg." He carries himself with a dignity on par with many dragons elder to him, despite his young age.


He will often snap at rambunctious dragons that disturb his work, calling them "rabble rousers" or something of the like before getting back to whatever piece he is currently creating.

Randot is known in clan for being a most impeccable jeweler. Many of the cuffs, bangles or wings seen on his fellow clansmates are his work.

Often Randot can be found rummaging in the clan's vault for metals, gems and stones to practice his craft on. He does however, have a bad habit of not keeping track of how much he takes, only to come back for 'one more thing' and there not being any, thus necessitating a hunt or sortie before he can finish his project.

Despite most Nocts penchant for meat, Randot prefers the hard carapaces of exoskeleton insects. His top 3 most tasty so far would have to be Scalescarabs (They're really quite sweet tasting), Tinderbugs (Good for getting meat from between fangs you know), and Shale Skitters (local, salty and tough to crunch, even when flattened).

He and Sköll happen to get along very well, the wolf often munches on meat he is given but doesn't often eat, while acting as a rambunctious hatchling deterrant. Unless of course the great big furball is asleep. It can be rather amusing to see the dragon berate Sköll for attempting to eat anything with yellow gems in it though.

Unlike many other clan members, Randot refuses to do more than basic hunting killing at any point in time. This is a source of argument between he and Irikai occasionally, often he just says "I am a jeweler not a thug My Lady" before winging off to do something else, leaving Irikai rolling her eyes half the time though she does end up not bugging him about it again any time soon.
