A gentle soul, unlike his fiesty sister Bead is more calm in action and words. He aims to be a scholar like his father Obsidian who acts as his mentor.
He grew up alongside Frostblade who was a hatchlinghood friend of his and his sister Bronwen, and who Bead gained a crush on during their teenagehood. While he was worried the boyish dragon would not reciprocate with encouragement from his sister and his second father Rolande who gave him advice, a young Bead finally confessed to his crush.
While Frostblade was initially stunned he too would also confess he had also had a crush on Bead for a long time. Bronwen would relentlessly but fondly tease both of them about this for a long time.
Presently Bead is still studying to achieve his dream and he would like to start travelling with the troupe to document their ventures as well as see more of the world.
