p e r s o n a l i t y ______Artio is, in simple terms, a force of nature both in personality and history. She's incredibly old, but shows little to no signs of aging, having been reborn several times since her first life. With this age has come the wisdom of a well-travelled druid, having been to all corners of the known world and back in her lifetime. ______She is unintimidated by threats of bodily harm, being a proficient fighter on top of having dealt with such threats many times in her life. She does as she wills and pleases, goes where she will and refuses to slot easily into the ranking system of the Tempest Order. She does not consider herself a Captain of any family in particular, preferring her title, The Sunrunner. ______Like nature, she can be beautiful and kind, but is unbeholden to the whims of anyone but herself. Like nature, she radiates power and strength without needing to flaunt it openly. Like nature, she is wild, but a fantastic listener.

______Artio was born first under the summer sun, sweltering hot as it bore down on the wild grasslands just west of the gladeveins -- where the Wild Sanctum stands today to monitor the leyline energy running through that area.
______In this first life, she was wild and free, red as the reflection of a sunrise on the water and untamed by the weights of time. The world was young -- many places yet untouched by draconic eyes. And she would see them all.
______She spent her first life chasing the sun across the horizon and learning all she could of magic in every corner of the world. For this, she was given the title of Sunrunner.
______When she could run no longer, she settled down and took a mate, having several children with him. To them, she taught the arts of druidic magic and sunrunning, and when they were old enough they too spread to the far corners of the world.

______Her second life, she was reborn in the image of moss and ripe berries. This time, her desire to wander was tempered in favor of sedentary agriculture. She found a clan to call her own and stayed with them, seeing to it by magical means that their lands would never feel the chill or decay of winter. All year round, their territories would remain lush and green, bearing fruit and seed like no other. The magics of the world were still young and rampant then, powerful and beautiful.
______The clan thrived, and knew neither hunger nor thirst so long as she still stood. But without her, they were lost.

______In her third life, she was reborn in the cold light of winter, her once lush and bountiful home now little more than snow upon overgrown vines and leaves. This time, she was reborn into a body that fell in shades of soft purples and blues, and with only half the energy she'd had before. In this life, she learned the necessities of autumn and winter, and how the changing of the seasons bore lessons to all those that took the time to sit and watch them pass. The lands died each winter, only to be reborn each spring in a never-ending dance.
______The magic was no longer as powerful as it had once been. She was no less connected to the natural world, but the strength it gave her in return diminished year after year. Still, she did not despair. Magic was but another cycle, and would return when it was time.

______In her fourth life, she was reborn in shades of green and brown, earthen soil and thick foliage. She awoke reinvigorated, in a world whose magic rivaled even their own former glory. The bounty of the elements was vast, echoes of even a fraction of the power of The First Seed echoing in the ground beneath her.

______With The Tempest Order, Artio acts as an additional Captain to the clan. Though some have tried to classify her as part of the Cryptic Family or Rusticaeris Family, she prefers to think of herself as being outside the ranking system of the clan.
______When she's at the Agriden, the crops and livestock flourish. The Agriden's residents plead for her to stay permanently, but as the seasons come and go, so too must she. She stays with the travelling portion of the clan because of this.
