To my wonderful Alan, from your amazing Jay.
I never grew up with the same Spyro you did; you started on the PlayStation ones and I the Gameboy Advance, but I'm glad we share the same love for it despite our difference in memories.
It's a bit fuzzy these days, but I still remember going around picking up all the purple gems, going into different portals, and even out of a time machine. Seeing Mr Moneybags not letting me past until I did so and so for him, and so, so much more in the subsequent games. I was always a bit bad with the whole gliding thing.
Maybe you can add here what game was your favourite?
I don't remember mine as it's been so long, but I played these:
Spyro: Season of Ice, Spyro 2: Season of Flame, Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs, and The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, which I didn't like from what I remember, but that could be because the model was yuck.
