TITLE Revedaen Church Information Broker

BRIEF SUMMARY

A sleezy information broker that works for the Revedaen Church. Loves the high society life and loves his job because it pays so well. He often goes out into the city to pick up the average citizen's open of the Church and to hear any rumors or gossip of any dissatisfaction or any tell of any groups forming up against the Church.

Currently, he's looking into The Guild.

Somehow, they haven't realized what he's really there for. Probably because he just fits in so well.

He used to live off in the Sunbeam Ruins, telling his parents that he was studying to be a scholar away from home while he was actually lazing about and living off of his parent's money. He loved the aesthetics of light and high society ever so much and one of his loudest grievances was that he'd been born with ruddy red scales and not pristine, marble-colored ones that matched his preference in environment.

During his time away from home, he eventually met Ultas and began to court her, too enamored by her looks to be put off by her cold attitude and demeanor. She rejected him anyway and soon left for the Southern Icefield. Welstiel was disappointed but got over her quickly.

One day though, years later, he received a letter from Ultas that asked him to move to the Southern Icefield, to Hollowwell, and to marry her granddaughter. He was... confused at the request but the promise of good pay and a similarly comfortable lifestyle that didn't rely on his parents was too good for him to pass up.

If he has to complain, though, he'd probably say that, with typical Pearlcatcher elitism, that he was disappointed Ultas' granddaughter and his bride to be wasn't a Pearlcatcher like him. Alas, shallow complaints from the shallowest of dragons.

When Xanice was born, Welstiel's general demeanor didn't change, but he did find that he loved his son more than he thought he could and spoils him rotten daily. Weblyn was sent away somewhere afterwards so Welstiel is also single again, not that he minds.

Sometimes, his afternoons that aren't filled with work that he spends at home with Xanice are spent lamenting about all of the attractive dragons he's seen but have no interest in him while Xanice regales him of his latest attempts at also finding love and how that has also not worked out. Alas, it seems that they are both destined to be single for a while.
