Biography

M U S T Y
Automaton, Artificer, Thundercat

tumblr_inline_o21bn7Jdxd1r3lvtf_540.png

The stone automaton awoke one day in his master Balthazar's tower. Its only command was to be useful. It set out from the tower with its strange and newfound independance with the goal of being useful. Soon however, the automaton's tower magically disappeared. Rain found it wandering the streets of a large city in Dragonhome, nameless and purposeless. Rain named it "Musty Dragon From The Tower," after the fashion of his birth clan, and managed to convince Musty to accompany him, seeking adventure.

Along the road, the two met Asha and all three became fast friends. For now, they've settled in a small town in Dragonhome, lending their services and expertise to the local Thundercats Adventuring Guild.

Musty struggles daily with the idea of his autonomy. Does he have a soul? Could Balthazar have crafted him a soul? Is he truly free to make his own choices? He is sometimes prey to visions of a prosperous city in disaster, visions that are from a first-person perspective... from a real dragon, not an automaton. Do these visions have something to do with him?

During their adventures, Musty built Bert, who is very, very good at taking the toughest hits during battles. At least he's easy to rebuild.

Rain, Asha, and Musty have managed to defeat the icy adversary plaguing their new home. The citizens are safe from this evil foe, but there's still something afoot...

The owners of the Thundercats Adventuring Guild, Marah and Buttercup, have been missing for some time. The last our heroes heard from them, they were setting off on an adventure into the deep, dark, expansive caves that spiderweb beneath the surface of Sornieth. Why did they descend into the depths, and will our heroes be able to find them?
