Capitalism. It was the main component that made the monetary world go round, funded empires and crippled them in the very same breath. A monstrous beast that many dragons fell victim too, Blockbuster's parents included. Success was all he and his brother's craved, wanting to be a part of the next big "trend" and breaking bank with a store of the century. Such did he and so many others earn their names, hoping that their name's sake would welcome them with open arms and offer them a seat in their empires.

It was unfortunate, really, when the stores they bore the names to began to fall; defunct stores of an older time. While Blockbuster had long since evaporated from the world, Best Buy was still holding some luck despite the decline. It wouldn't be long before his brother's name would be an unfortunate reminder of what once was, and perhaps a weird way of their parents prophetic abilities towards the downfall of company's.
