Role: Queen of Eos Court



It was amidst tumultuous energies of the Crystalspine Reaches that Eos was born to a royal court. She was born heir to a magic throne in a palace hewn from glowing crystal, taught to channel the energies of the realm by court alchemists, scholars, and sorcerers. Courtiers taught her grace, minstrels taught her poetry. She learned all of the fine arts and graces, to become a queen that would bless her court.

But the court was not peaceful. Though her mother was a gentle queen, her chancellor was bent towards war. Eos could not abide him, and so he turned her mother against her. Thus she was forced to flee to the Southern Icefields. This was not a land she was used to, the magic so much more contained and the beauty austere. She did not know how to interact with these dragons, their culture was so different. Yet she found sanctuary within the land of the Serac Field Clan. Their leaders welcomed her, gave her room to build a new court and offered protection.

With her magic she grew a new palace of ice and snow. It's ceilings twinkled like the Starwood Strand at nightfall, the windows glittered like crystal shards. The ice columns were carved with runes, and the walls were covered in crystalline patterns. And all about snow that caught and bounced the light about fell softly. This was were Eos set up her own court. She imbued it with the grace and beauty that she had been taught, and many dragons far and wide flocked to join her. And at her side were her consorts, Polaris and Selene. They gave her strength, bolstered her with their gentle love and support. It was with them that Eos was able to find the courage to rule in a new land, to govern wisely.

And Eos needed their council, as the elegance of the court seduced away many of the young dragons of the Serac Field Clan. The clan was well established, with its own culture and traditions. But the world of Eos's court was beautiful and colorful, so different from the clan's austerity. It strained the alliance between Eos and the clan leaders. It was difficult to know how to proceed. Eos wished only to bring peace to her court, but this world had become her home. And so she sought to find a delicate balance between welcoming all those who sought her council, and respecting the clan that had vowed to protect her.
