It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Nyota, the fastest Nocturne in
Sornieth! Despite her constant zooming around, dragons are still extremely startled when their
flight is disrupted by a red blur nearly knocking them out of the sky. I guess a speed demon is
still a demon, no matter how you look at it.
If you need to grab her attention, the best way to do so is with a challenge. She
loves any challenge anyone can offer, as she loves to show people up. Don't try to race her
though, You'll regret that one.
She's convinced she is the best at everything, and all anyone ever needs
is speed to complete a task. Many try to argue with her, using 'quality over quantity', but it's
impossible. Her comebacks are too quick.
She's fast on and off the course, and not just literally, but mentally too. Her quick
wit gets her out of many terrible situations, and she barely gets out by the skin of her teeth.
While she needs her wit off the course, she has plenty of speed to triumph on the course
without it, although she can't help tricking the other competitors when she gets bored after flying
at her lowest gear for an hour.
Nyota is quick to lose patience as well. She will not tolerate anyone besmirching
her name, and her hater usually finds themselves with a severe case of whiplash after a scathing comment. But normally, they never even have the chance to let the words tumble out
of their mouth.

She wasn't always fast. Even a dragon as great as her
didn't start out great. She had been the slowest dragon in the clan. Other dragons would fly past
her with ease, and she would huff in contempt.
She longed to be fast, like them! She wanted to zip through the sky so fast her
eyes would water and the tears would freeze tracks down her cheeks! She had a need for
speed. With determination sparking in her very soul, she began to fly, and fly, and fly. The
muscles in her wings grew stronger, her wingstrokes quicker, and her body narrower and more
aerodynamic. The wind whistled through her ears became louder and louder, until it was nearly
deafening each time reached top speed.
What was once a bumbling dragon, turned into a fighter jet. Through
nothing but hard work and a single desire, Nyota became the best in all the land.
Whenever she is confronted by a young hatchling with a sparkle in their eyes, she
tells them the same thing. Not because it's fast, or easier, or she thinks she has better things to
do. Never in a million years could something be so important. She tells each and every one of
them that, if they follow their dreams, they can achieve anything. And when they see the
