Axirothan

Illuminated softly by glowing vines patiently rests the leader of the Keepers, draped in an arboretum of glass over an endless void and surrounded by ink-heavy scrolls filled with maps and plans.

Though she appears so, Axirothan isn't truly selfish, ignorant or uncaring--she's merely a product of years of harsh preparation, constant torment and endless anxiety in a world of doomsayers and those molded more roughly by their time alive than she. Axirothan has a tendency to plan everything and worry over the finest details--she doesn't do well when stressed over an unfamiliar situation.

Some Keepers wish to bring the end faster, and some want to try and delay it, but Axirothan knows the only thing that's important is to survive it for as long as possible. When the Keepers were on the verge of tearing themselves apart she rose to the position of their leader, because to her, their cause is worth far more than any life, hers or another's.

The Keepers
Deep underneath the Starwood Strand lies a labyrinth of tunnels that the Keepers call home. Sealed away from the outside world for all but a single path out of hundreds, the Keepers unite under one single goal: when the world ends, come out on top.
Perhaps if not for their constant nurture of the Shade, it wouldn't be such a threat, but that's a moral dilemma most of them have forsaken by this point--and one many never had in the first place.
