Lore
There is a place within the Millmeadow Farmlands, a murky mire rich with bountiful plantlife grown from the suprisingly fertile grounds. But the local clans dare not venture upon it as it is the home to a mysterious shrouded dragon.

Local legend has it the dragon is a shadetouched vicious eater of other dragons, and that any who dare encroach onto their territory lured in by the tempation of the glistening berries and scrumptious mushrooms, would meet a terrible end dragged into the murky depths of the mire never to be seen again. Although there has been no known account of this ever happening in any clan history, it is still enough for most to keep their distance.

Every now and then the dragons who tend to the farms will see a strange little brightly coloured creature with big innocent eyes wandering along the edge of the mire's wooded borders.

It has been rumoured to be the familiar of the Mire Dragon as one can sometimes see an eerie set of glowing eyes peering from the shadows behind the creature. As such, it is believed if the familiar is spotted it is a sign that the Mire Dragon is nearby and so many take that opportunity to leave as quickly as possible.

Recently however, there has been more sightings of the Dragon of the Mire venturing beyond its borders leaving many to worry if it is attempting to expand its territory or hunt down the careless late night wanderer. A select few do wonder instead if perhaps the dragon is simply looking to find companionship but such ideas are usually dismissed.

Either way, the ominous Mire Dragon is making theirself more known and it is only a matter of time before it is determined the true nature of this mysterious being.
