Alaia nodded, noticing her mate nodding along. "We hoped we could have a alliance of both natures. Our clan is more of a peaceful, scholarly nature however we do have strong warriors that could be of assistance if needed. I find that alliances could be useful in more than protection or food supply -- though that is can definitely be an agreement in the alliance" She hastily added.



"What my mate means, is we found that the best way to get the most of an alliance is to become less....alliances and more like friends. We can maintain our distance in some main clan issues, of course, but having us teach the other. Warriors teaching warriors, our mages helping the other, and even just our chefs or individual dragons making friends." He explained. "We found when we have allies like this, there becomes more unity and loyalty bonded. Because dragons meet the other clan, and befriend these dragons. I know that Dune would love to see Beegz more -- either at my lair, yours, or somewhere in the middle." He said, smiling at the duo near the leaders."

Hideaki rubbed the back of head, "I'm not entirely sure what good rules would be. But how about 1) If we ever fail each other we we are in a dire need, the alliance shall be broken 2) we do not share our secrets with other clans before consulting with each other first and 3) we always pay our debts." He asked, counting the rules on three fingers before lowering his paw.



"Do you have anything to add or disagree with?" She asked, looking between the two leaders. "We also understand if you do not agree with having extremely close relations between our two clans." She mentioned, glancing with her mate to double check. After his nod, she continued, "we have other clan ally who prefers a more distance relationship -- which is perfectly fine. Hideaki and I often writes with them with it working quite well, regardless."



Dune tilted his head to her, before rolling to lay down while still being able to comfortably look at her. "Char has been on a merchant trip for the past few weeks. Since he's the commander of the Merchant trade in our clan, and because we still have a rather small group, he has to go on most of the trips. Aden and the clan leaders occasionally get letters from him on updates but I'm not entirely sure when he'll be make." Dune's fins unconsciously drooped slightly. He missed the older Fae.

Perking up slightly, "Nile has been good too! I know she's excited to hear about our clans officially allying ourselves together. She says that next time you visit, she's going to perfect the meat cookies she's working on with our chef. She's been trying to find the perfect balance between a healthy and good tasting cookie-like food that would provide the health benefits and nutrition while not tasting like puke or dirt." He played with the beaded strings hanging from her mask, "I know she's working on cookies that could work with different breeds. She's been working and researching for Mirrors."

Dune looked up at the clan leaders, hearing what his said. "Do you think your clan would be ok with that? Being close like that? I wouldn't mind it. Then we can visit each other more!" He said excitedly.
