Biography

Sinking towards the endless abyss that sings with motherly toned lure. The heavens billow and turn, the sea rolling with eagers and curling tides. Envy and malevolence spiral through a merciless expanse. From twining caverns and aquifers to the obvious, azure stretch covering most the land below...

PONTUS

The thalassic deity of the pelagic and all that lies below. An incarnate born of zealousness and greed from the pouring gore of one of the primordial titans. Imprisoned to the reservoirs of the Earth's buried anchialines pools, adjoining glistening stone and vitreous beauty.

Created during the scrimmage between primeval kin of the Lord¹. Son of Plassium, the personification of the divine blood spilt from The Father². Drawn from the slashed abdomen of the ancient numen, Pontus was cast from the heavenly disturbance and into the sea, where his sprawled, shifting form further evolved into that of a leviathan. During his early life, Pontus spent most his time molding the maritime environment; shaping coral into branches of color and vibrancy and tending stalks of kelp and seaweed into its verdant splendor.

A colossal serpentine. Originally a vivid hue of cerulean majesty, with skin and muscle similar in appearance to tranquil, flowing waters that visibly coursed through his outline. The prodigious god's proprietorship was demonstrated through his sprightly shades and luminous features, with dignity as bright in comparison.
His motions glide through waters with a smoothness to his poise. Fins and pinions assist his form's movement.
Over time and wear, and with his eternity incarcerated, the deity evolved to a more balanced palette between the dullness of the submerged chambers and his signature coruscating glow. Blemishes similar to the scintillating lures of the abyssal depths ripple over vast anatomy.
