Aethyr was a Wind Guardian who was afraid of flying. She got seized by panic attacks and froze up if anything unexpected happened during flight. Her father was the Patriarch of their Clan. When she was unable to pass the Flight Test, she was Exiled from her home in Windsong. She left, and started to build her own Clan, the Aeolians.

Her best friend Dusk, realized that she was his Charge, and gladly followed her. He left behind all that he knew to be with her. Together, they had four hatchlings. One fateful day, Dusk was teaching them how to fly. One of the hatchlings hit a Wind gust and lost control. She started to fall from the sky, and without thinking, Aethyr jumped into the sky and saved her. It was only afterwards that she realized she had flown without fear. In fact, she loved the feel of flying! From that day forward, Aethyr lost her fear of the Wind.

However, she decided she would not return to her original Clan, for she had learned to love the freedom and independence she gained being away. She loved her new home, and wouldn’t leave it for the world.

Over time, the Clan expanded and gathered a plethora of Dragons from all different walks of life. She cherished the many relationships she developed and eventually realized that the Aeolians were her Charge. Aethyr planned to help the fledgeling Clan thrive in whatever ways that she could.

Personality // Though she can be dark sometimes, and loves to talk about how deranged the world is, Aethyr is a kind-hearted Dragon. She has a soft spot for Hatchlings, and is very maternal. All of those in her Clan know that they can go to her to find someone who will listen to their problems and try to help. This is what makes her such a good leader.
-- Likes // A gentle breeze, peace and quite, and harmonious time with those she loves
-- Dislikes // Whirlwinds, yelling and shouting, Banishments

Familiar // Autumn
-- Role of familiar // Autumn is a is a Harvest Hardshell that grew attached to Aethyr in the early days of the Aeolians. Whenever Autumn came to visit, Aethyr would give her a small gift of food. Eventually, during a famine, Autumn came to the Clan and shared her bountiful collection of food. After that, she never left.
