Quetzal was found in arcane territory by a Cumulus clan dragon searching for gemstones. The freshly-hatched small Araboa curled himself around the Sandsurge and went with her into the safety of the bamboo forest and into Cumulus territory.

Having grown up with this clan, Quetzal is a calm and gentle dragon, very capable of mediating with other Araboas that pass through Cumulus territory. Not many of these dragons do seem to pass by, so Quetzal spends most of his time idle, lazing in the trees or draped over larger clusters of bamboo stalks.
