Not much is known about Layla's history as she often keeps to herself about such matters. The only one she's ever truly opened up to her mate Raiden. Even Mythic knows very little about her, what IS know about Layla is that she's a hard and dedicated worker. She loves her mate but sadly gives up any children she has as she feels she's not yet ready to be a mother. Raiden understands and supports her decisions.
