"If we're to survive, we must know more. And the Coil lets us do that."

______ Cyonax is considered the leader of the group of Auraboas that flew off together from the Behemoth to Amalur: Anthias, Chantrea, Lophaeta, Lychee, Shamal, Temruri, Vetulus, and himself. Tasked with the gathering of new knowledge and how the Auraboas should adapt to this new life amidst the circadian cycle, he followed the call of another Auraboa who had surprised him with a mental link: Niva. Although it was a shock that one had been hiding here all this time, it also meant that he knew that Amalur was the right place for them to be. Realizing that Niva had to protect things within the physical realm and bear responsibility there, he and his mate, Lophaeta, took to keeping the Coil safe for the other Auraboas who would eventually arrive or hatch within Amalur.

______ Since then, his focus has been on two tasks. One, keep the Coil safe and prevent any outside intrusions. Two, begin and continue his research about Sorineth. While he isn't the only one doing this - he's enlisted the help of some of the other Auraboas to assist - he's the one who does most of the reading and research. With Solaria's permission, he combs through the clan's archives, seeking to learn more about life away from the Behemoth and to help his kin catch up with the modern world. It's going to take a lot of time - and he's got to juggle that with keeping the Coil strong - but he's determined to keep them all safe - and knowledgeable. Whenever he gets the chance, he tries to connect back to the Loop to pass on important information. Whether it gets to the elders is unknown, though...
