"A sub-species of Auraboas hidden deep within the Starwood strand. Unlike the Auraboa of the Viridian Labyrinth, the Starwood Strand Auraboas have grown to mimic the flora of their home-- glittering pelts of stars, and manes of glowing flowers and leaves. They are nearly impossible to tell apart from the trees they call home, making them very deadly predators- threats to any dragon or beastclan that get lost in the dazzling forest.
For a long time, their presence was mere myth- ghost stories of strange coatl-like beings that were Different, changed by the mysterious forests. But with the discovery of the Auraboas hidden in the heart of the Viridian Labyrinth changed these fictions to plausibilities.
With their eventual discovery, a few mysteries remain-- how did an Ancient species so specific to the Viridian Labyrinth end up in the Starwood Strand? And how long did they hide there, undetected? If the populations of dragons in Sornieth did not continue to grow, would they have ever been discovered?"
