"Hey sis. It's your bro and the light of your life!" the tough little dragon struts around before unfurling his small wings and flashing Skysong a toothy smile. Rapture towered above him, regarding the much younger dragon with a disinterested look that could mean he was thinking about having a small snack as much as just watching the boy.
His mother, being so busy with her work, frequently left him to the care of the entire clan. He didn't mind at all, they were, after all a family and he was always treated fairly. Because he often got into scraps with the other children, and loved fighting so much, he was kept apart from them until he decided to challenge the or the adults instead.
For the most part, he was ignored, no matter how hard he tried. None of the larger dragons took him seriously. Indeed they often found him "cute" or simply tolerated him with patience that only made him try harder. Until he'd worked up the courage to face the most serious and intimidating of all the dragons in their little community.
