Sangoma

Sangoma is unpartnered, and will likely remain so. She is... not quite a shaman in her own right. Rather, she is what happens when a shaman-in-training fails to make it all the way "back" after their initiation ritual. Hatchlings, as well as some adult dragons, avoid her, finding her frightening. However, she fulfills an important role in the clan. She is the Dreamkeeper, protecting the dreams of those sleeping so that they neither have nightmares nor are disturbed by anything lurking in the shadows. Possessed of the ability to watch the dreamers' dreams, she is sometimes consulted when in-clan conflicts need resolving, or by the clan archivist and historian as conscious fears and desires can easily make themselves known in her realm of dreams.
