She looked up. Her eyes straining against the harsh blur. The sun's rays shot through, giving hot and blaring streaks of light. Blinding her. After a moment, she couldn't bare it. Glancing away, her eyes burned with discomfort. Something was odd.. the pain lingered, wasn't it supposed to go away?

A young hatching gifted cursed with the sun. Wrapping her eyes with her blessed hands around the fragile, pure eyes. Nothing but warmth remained. She became blind, given only the sight of seeing the pure of heart, and truth. Her coating was as if dipped in iridescent ink, from blinding bright yellows, to clear and sharp spots of blue. Giving more to her appearance, as if she was brought down from the heavens to bring luxury and cures. Myths swarm her, as she is projected onto clans as a savior from misfortune.

She picked her for a reason, right? Pure from birth, born with innocence that's hard to come by these days. On the third day of the hatchlings life, her first glance into the vivid blue sky, had she struck misfortune, catching the sun's rays, striking her that instant from the short life she had before.
