Biography
Formerly: Zombie (nickname)
Found wandering the Pox Consulate as a hatchling
Kelp Bed Corps
"Plagueschild?"
"Could be. No one's sure exactly, but just look at him...his coloring...And they found him wandering strangely. Like some sort of...zombie." At that word, the hatchling looked up at them. He gazed innocently up at them with deep, verdant eyes like the boughs of the Behemoth. The look was unsettling coming out from the ghastly mask of sickly green markings that covered his face and continued along the rest of his body. He looked healthy enough. Not a hint of disease or the telltale scarring of pox or plague. Even still a shiver spread across Opelousas' scales; his matriarch seemed unphased.
"The hatchling stays," Bayou says in her familiar monotoned buzz, which somehow seems detached, even for a fae. She looks over the hatchling again with mild disinterest and turns back to the broodfather rather ready to be done bothering with the fate of hatchlings. "Baton can test him for plague instinct and if he fails, Parish could always use another body in the skullguard."
With the small dragon's fate decided, Bayou flitted away to Skolleshold to find far more pressing matters waiting for her in the council room.
Opelousas looked down and sighed, his brows knitting over thoughtful eyes. "I supposed we should take you Lecompte for naming," he said scooping the hatchling up and heading off toward the Druid's Glade. "It really wouldn't do to keep calling you zombie, now would it, little one?"
