Born to eat and sleep and play with reckless abandon, the hedonism of an untrained labrador. She's absolutely in love with being alive and all the tasty flavors and sights and sounds that come with it, and she will tell you all about how much she loves a thing while eating it out of your hands as you (fail to) fend her off. You were really looking forward to that chili dog, but you can sort of tell she enjoyed it far more than you were going to.

More things that are true about My Apatite with an Appetite
  • Her carnivore teeth are somewhat retractable, pink lil nubins most of the time but like, maybe they get bigger/come out further when she is devouring, toothless httyd style, like what how a cat claw works
  • She's the reason my idiots have to invest in locked cupboards, at least cheeto wasn't sentient enough to figure out a door knob or a latch
  • Truly every cell in her brain is dedicated to finding and obtaining the nearest wonderful sensory experiance and basking in the pleasure of it as rapidly and selfishly as possible.
  • think of her like the dog from 'dog eats burrito in 1 second'
  • Monarch probably has a bit of a love hate relationship with her cuz of that, Monarch is a savor-er and Apatite is a eat now ask questions later.
  • But despite her speed of consumption, Apatite is incredibly keen on what she has just tatsted/felt/whatever and is endlessly grateful to the universe, and gives descriptive monologues of how lovely something was
  • For example; Apatite: *Eats massive bowl of stew that slowcooked for 10 hours in 8 seconds and flops onto floor*
    Monarch: did you even taste it you rat glutton
    Apatte: Oh yes! I taste the potatioes and how creamy they were, and i tasted a little bit of everything else in there soked into them! and the broth was the perfect most deluicuious thick savory salty, and every time i bit into a dragon celery it was a little juicy crunch! delectable! Divine!
    Monarch: *Charmed* do you want another bowl
    Apatite: *already eating out of the pot*
  • I think monarch probably tries to make deals with apatite that if shecan control herself in the kitchen and doesn't eat whats not hers, Monarch will make her special treats
  • Which apatite desperatley wants
  • Sometimes monarch feeds her with one of those dog bowls thats shaped like a maze you get to make em eat slower
  • In my clan I sorta have it canon that all my dragons eat exclusivley foods that their breed eat(Monarch makes a different version of her meals for every type of eater, she's a very good and considerate chef) But apatite is the exception to this. She'll eat truly anything
  • I think she gets food poisoning often because of that^
  • She has a huge vocabulary
  • Is afraid and confused by the concept of gambling & investments. A bird in the hand is worth way more than any amount of birds in this supposed bush of yours
  • Phil and Frisk like hanging out with her because she's unexpectedly clever, has no moral compass, and will do anything for any amount of food. A perfect little henchman for their dragon crime ring.
  • Apatite sleeps in Frisk and Phil's room(hole in the wall) most nights because its the most pillowy place in the den. Phil and Frisk didn't care for it at first, but physically couldn't stop her and just got used to it
  • Narratively her vibe is alice in wonderland, the lorax, yellow submarine type stuff. Not trippy, but colorful and wordy in a way that dances on the edge of being nonsense
  • Worst Fear=Rubiks cube. Frisk and Wynn convinced her its an scp that changes when she's not looking and if it ever gets fully solved she'll explode
  • She's pan. Loves all people and things, especially ones made in a pan

  1. Not a list of stuff she wants to do before she dies, but rather loose pieces of paper that she wrote ideas on and left on the floor/table/wherever. Whenever my idiots come across one while cleaning up, they put it in a specific bucket designated for them
  2. When she does encounter a live spider, her fear reaction is to yell at it to go away, calling it every synonym for 'awful' she can think of.
