Kushtaka was groomed from hatching by her sister, Gumdrop - told that they were the rightful leaders of Ravencry, that once they had control the clan would flourish.

And it did. Despite Gumdrop's twisted morals - despite the blood spilled to get where they were - she did truly care for her clan. Kushtaka honestly believed the ends justified the means... even if the means resulted in the death of the former leader.

Upon realizing just what had been done to secure Gumdrop's leadership of the clan, Kushtaka began having a moral crisis. In the end, she confronted Forseti - and he confessed to her that he would never forgive Gumdrop for what she had done, and that he was planning to take the clan back from her.

For moons, Kushtaka debated telling Gumdrop of Forseti's plots... but she never did. When the battle came, she turned her back on her sister and fought alongside the true leader of Ravencry.
