Humility
Humility is an important part of flexibility. It allows you to be flexible in the first place (to a degree). This is because admitting the plan you have might not be the best requires humility as pride would mean you choose your plan no matter whether it's the best or not. Also humility allows you to be able to identify when you are wrong and change it and what the absolute best action is anyway (this also requires analyzation but that's another topic).

That is not the main definition of humility but it's rather how it ties in with flexibility. Humility is a right estimate of oneself. It is also regarding others as more important than oneself and viewing all others as greater than oneself. It is selfless and is the direct opposite of pride (bad; one or the other. you can either be humble or prideful).
Flexibility
Flexibility is an important skill because if you want the best possible outcome you have to be willing to change your plan. You do the absolute best you can but if someone has a better plan you have to be willing to change your plan.

Azrit literally glows gently at night. He absorbs light during the day and the trailing star-specked pattern that sprawls across his fur emit a soft yellow glow at night and as a result he is often on night watch in the center of camp.
