A Fire-born Sandsurge who dreams of going home.

When rumours of a maddening disease swirled across the lands, the one who sought to worry the least was the wayfaring Sandsurge who'd learned to make a living by travelling and selling; after all, her time in each territory was limited and she'd be away on her next journey as quickly as she'd arrived. As was the fun of being a travelling trader - she had no reason to ground herself for long.
So, when she heard rumours of the Rotblight, initially she kept on at her usual wares, visiting small camps and grand cities alike, hearing each Flight's rendition

Those affected by the Rotblight are said to lose all sense of their previous self, instead being replaced by empty shells of their former bodies, driven by nothing but the desire to inflict pain upon others. In Juju's case, this is largely true, but a part of her still flickers within.
As such, as difficult as it was, she took up the challenge of isolating herself in the Allerwood; knowing that her existence was a danger to everybody else. The story of her disappearance baffled many but was soon blown over in favour of other, bigger stories to tell. And as such, aside the occasional dragon who goes missing upon entering those woods, Juju Artemis, once a renowned travelling trader, became nothing more than a fairy tale, a fable told around the campfire, a bedtime story. A myth.

The only reminders of her past self are what she carries. As the Blight continues to eradicate her memories and take over her body, Juju only feels more frustrated at trying to work out what significance these belongings once held; little does she know, the jewels and drapes she still manages to find beautiful are indeed her own work. But she's past remembering that now.
