''PERSES was the Titan god of destruction. He was the father of Hekate, goddess of witchcraft, by the Titanis Asteria ("Starry One"). Perses' name means "the Destroyer" or "the Ravager" from the Greek words persô and perthô. Hesiod inexplicably describes him as "preeminent among all men in wisdom." ''

''Woah, your're pretty! Your scales are so beautiful in this light!''
Exclaimed an eager dragon, eyes full of wonder looking at him. Perses was taken aback for a moment, never had he heard a dragon with scales as bright as this one's say something nice to him.

Darkness took over him yet again, eyes stern, not daring to show a sign of weakness or surprise any further.

''I thank you for your words, light child. But my scales aren't meant for the touch of such light, it dulls their own shine. You see, small one~''

Perses extended his neck, large as a mountain oposite to the small light dragon, looking down upon him with stern, hungry eyes. He moved so his body was trapping the light dragon, nobody to see him now, Perses' large tail behind the dragon, preventing it from running.

A small, ominous smile tugged at his lips, his head lowerin eyes looking past his browbone at the small, defensless creature.

''~ I am born to the shadows, I belong to the darkness and walk its path. As the light steals the shine of my scales, I steal it out of creatures it is giving life to. ''

'' That is so cool! Can is see your scales shine in the shadow? They must be gorgeus!''

Yet again Perses was taken aback. How was this creature not afraid of him as any other is, had it not heard the stories of the titan that dwells in the shadowfall woods?

As Perses looked the creature in the eyes he saw them sparkling with pure joy and curiousity.
''Perhaps this one can be spared.'' He found himself mumbling to himself.
