Biography
Fimbul
On the edge of the world, covered in cables and rime, lies the city of Fimbul. An ancient patchwork of technology. Several factions fight for control of this city, with less powerful citizens doing their best to simply live their lives.
Factions
Sol
Leaders: Ishtar
A religious order that aims for a modest life, focusing on spirituality and inner peace. Central to this faith is the Sol-Do, their leader said to see the true path of life. Known for being conservative and opponents of technological advancements.
Tora District
Leaders: Vasjugan and Nyurolka.
A large district in the south-east of Fimbul. One half is in perpetual spring and the other in harsh winter, thanks to being controlled by two siblings blessed by the seasons. This district has long stood under the rule of the Tol family and has a great deal of influence.
Kuyoka District
Leaders: Coalition of several families.
This northern district is home to Fimbul's ruling class. Looming ancient buildings have been refurbished into gleaming castles of cables and neon. The lives of these wealthy families is so different from the rest of Fimbul that it's like two parallel worlds.
Technomages
Leaders: Helgamond and Folour
Residing within the deepest part of Fimbul, this secretive faction uses technology to create magic. While the faction is small and usually keeps to itself its followers are powerful. Because they advocate technology they're enemies of the Sol.
Nexus District
The Nexus District serves as the central district of Fimbul, where merchants gather to sell their wares to poor and rich alike.

The four spirits of the seasons - summer, autumn, winter and spring - are considered gods by some. While the spirits themselves are nothing more than a sort of power that flows through the world, their power may manifest in dragons who become avatars of that season.
Grimstral
A powerful clan residing in the Kuyoka district.
Chandler
A powerful clan residing in the Kuyoka district. Known for creating candles.
Tol
A powerful clan who rules over the Tora District. They used to be a lot weaker until two of the heirs were blessed by the spirits of spring and winter.
Two-Tone Thread
Tailor shop located in the Nexus.
Spring Pavilion
Café located in the Spring Half of the Tora District.
