Only dragons with an unfathomable amount of strength and adaptability may feel truly free to lurk within the Maw of Escollo as if it was their own domain. A place drenched in darkness with waves of magic pulsating from it's center down deep, it's unfriendly for most dragons. Ourea is not like most. An Ancient from the era of Efficus, the Emperor and lords of lords, he's well-acquainted with the Maw after centuries of patrolling the same sea cliffs and same ravines and same caves. Eyesight dulled by an eternity in darkness, scales so blue it almost looks black within the lightless ravine, Ourea continues to guard the Maw and contain the ever pulsating waves of magic, as it's his duty from Efficus. He knows nothing of Efficus' betrayal of his kind for no dragon from the Emperor's army ever wanted to go into the Maw to find Ourea, much less fight him in his own domain. Other villagers in Escollo may see Ourea as hostile and dangerous, but flesh wounds seems preferable to whatever danger raw magic can inflict on a mortal dragon.

RELATIONSHIPS

As one of the only dragons who can safely venture within the Maw and also shares the same interests with Ourea as the lord of Escollo, he regards the godly dragon with cautious optimism. But they help out when the other needs it, subconsciously knowing they're the last and strongest line of defense for their home.
