VoidStar was infected by the Shade as an egg,it modifying his body oddly. A not so natural eclipse at hatching imbued them with lunar energy that is said to be interference from the Shadowbinder herself,that prevents the Shade from harming him,or damaging his magical abilities. VoidStar claims to sometimes hear a voice in his head at night,especially during an eclipse,although who it is and where it comes from no one knows. Perhaps the Shade influences him after all…only time will tell.
