Ever since she was young, the only thing Butternut has wanted to do was grow the world's biggest pumpkin. There was only one issue, she was the world's worst farmer. Anything she planted would either wilt or just never sprout at all. This was not enough to deter her though, Butternut was determined to succeed. She persisted, even seeking out the aid of other farmers for advice on what she could do better, and eventually her hard work paid off and her crops started growing.

Butternut became such a good farmer that crops weren't the only thing growing in her fields. Trinkets and other plants started sprouting every now and then too. Flowers whose seeds she hadn't planted, small trinkets that she has held onto and collected, but the most notable item being a golden locket.
