Keeva is a new acquisition to the pack, but from the very beginning they demonstrate what a vital and important part of the pack they are. This dragon is an extremely ambitious individual in whom the urge to take action burns all the time, perhaps due to the fact that Keeva is not entirely made of flesh and blood?
This Sandsurge is somewhat of a cyborg - not many members of the pack understand what this dragon is, most don't even try to pretend to understand. When they were a young dragon, they suffered a serious accident. Ironically, the dragon that came from a flight of fire was almost burned alive. Forever being maimed and deprived of its freedom. The injuries were so extensive that few thought they would be able to survive it. And if they did, they would end up an invalid that would quickly rot in the street, unable to hunt for food or defend themselves against the harsh conditions of the world. They lost the vast majority of their skin, their nervous system also suffered, not to mention the other injuries that projected onto their motor system. In a word, they were doomed by all. Regardless, the burns and damage would finish them off before their injuries were 'healed'. On top of all this, in all this misery they lost their parents. Fate seemed to turn against them, completely ruining them. Stripping them of everything they owned.
Abandoned. Without hope. In excruciating pain. Terrified.
They thought it was over. That they would simply die, cursing fate and their helplessness.
And yet, it was only the beginning. Not the beginning of suffering, but the beginning of a new life. From a patient condemned to death, she became a patient condemned to experimentation. A mad scientist... An inventor with ambitions bigger than the whole world. It was he who gave them a new body. He gave them claws that were able to carry them wherever they wanted to go. Yet pain and suffering never left them. And yet there they were. Rushing ahead, with hope in their heart. Without fear. Surrounded by the hoard. And full of gratitude to the dragon who had decided to turn their very body into his new experiment. Creating something out of them that had never existed before.
